Advocacy Groups
Children's Law Center is an innovative, first of its kind non-profit legal clinic offering free and low cost legal services to provide permanence for Washington’s children in need. Services will include adoptions, non-parental custodies, guardianships and general advocacy for at-risk or trafficked youth.
Foster Promise is a coalition of community members and public/private organizations actively engaged in the positive transformation of foster care and the strengthening of foster children and the families and communities who care for them to ensure that every child has a home that is safe, permanent, and provides a high level of well-being.
Liberty Road Foundation exists to connect human and financial resources to established non-profits, emphasizing the importance of businesses mobilizing their employees and financial resources to build communities of hope. Fostering Together is proud to be one of these non-profits.
Mockingbird is a leading advocate for foster care reform built on youth-inspired solutions, powerful coalitions and public support for every child’s right to a safe home and a bright future. Their approach has resulted in award-winning programs so that all youth have access to a good education, quality health care and community support.
Sibling House is a non-profit committed to supporting foster and adoptive parents who provide care for sibling groups. Their network of homes receive support and encouragement in order to make their role as foster/adoptive parents easier.
As part of an ongoing commitment to the community, Sleep Country has partnered with local agencies and the community to make a difference in the lives of local foster children. Items donated to Sleep Country Foster Kids are distributed to many agencies including Fostering Together.
