Region 1 Fostering Together Staff
We have community-based Liaison/Recruiters in Eastern Washington from Okanogan to Klickitat Counties. As experienced foster/adoptive parents, they are all available to help you through the licensing process by answering your questions about foster care/adoption, connecting you with trainings and resources, assisting you with your licensing application packet and providing any other assistance you may need to make your licensing journey easier.
They are also available to support licensed and relative caregivers in their community. Whether you need help navigating the DSHS system or just want to talk to someone who understands the challenges you face as a caregiver, they are there to help you. And with community-based support groups throughout Eastern Washington there is a group of people close to you who want to welcome you and make sure you get the support and training you need to parent the children in your care. These groups are open to all licensed families, relative caregivers and those who are considering becoming licensed.
Fostering Together Liaisons are passionate about making a difference in the lives of caregivers and their foster children. For support, please contact the Liaison in your area.
