Below is a list of upcoming trainings available to caregivers. For more information on each class or to register, please use the contact information provided. You must pre-register for all classes by providing your complete name, mailing address, area code and telephone number. Please note that no childcare is available at any of these classes.
This class is mandatory for all newly licensed foster parents (licensed after 10/15/2011). It will help you to become familiar with your regional policies and provide you with a refresher on topics discussed at your pre-service training. Includes information on: Procedure & Paperwork, Medical & Dental Care, Meetings & Court Proceedings, Mandated CPS Reporting, Allegations & Investigations, and Miscellaneous Information. This is an excellent class for both new and experienced caregivers.

This class is a comprehensive and fun 36 hour training course designed specifically for foster parents, adoptive parents and kinship providers and is mandatory for all newly licensed foster parents (licensed after 10/15/2011). It is taught in a relaxed and friendly manner that answers your questions, while allowing you to share the joys and frustrations of caring for someone elses child. Includes information on: Procedure & Paperwork, Medical & Dental Care, Meetings & Court Proceedings, Mandated CPS Reporting, Allegations & Investigations, and Miscellaneous Information.
The six module topics include: Self Concept/Cultural Competence/Seperation & Grief, Child Development, Sexual Behavior Problems, Discipline, Physically Aggressive Children and Youth and Teaming/Assertiveness/Self-Care.
